Aight, so whenever I read a book, i automatically try to guess the twist. So in this one I 'thought' i had it all mapped out. I really did. It's like was staring at the suspected character, keeping my eye on him, watching his moves, picking up on clues. I'm staring right...like across the room at this house party of characters, and somebody walks by and says "excuse me." I nod, and regain focus on my suspect. this cat stands beside me and tries to make small talk, but i don't have time for all of that; i have to stay focused on my man across the room. Yo...dude keeps talking. Then...come to find out, the guy that walked by...he was the one i should've been watching the whole time. Like, yo. I stood by this guy the entire night, while i watched my target, trying to blend in, and the whole time the real twist was right...under...my big nose! Aye, Salute to Ty Marshall. I nominate this book as having the twist of the year. One of those joints where you want to go back and read it again to laugh at how stupid you were for not catching it. You Sir, have gained a new fan.-Niles

Eat Prey No Love edition by Ty Marshall Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I loved this storyline. It was fresh and full of mystery. It gave me a new Bruce Wayne/Batman to love without all the save the world stuff to take my focus away from the real story but times two. I can't explain what I mean without spoiling the story, you'll have to read it to understand me. To sum it up it was a unpredictable pager turner that doesn't fit in one genre, it touches on many of them. If you want a taste of class in your urban fiction then this is the book for you. Hats off to Ty Marshall!
I must say Ty straight knocked it out with his debut!!! Then it being well written made it even better. This book had so many twists and turns and I couldn't put it down. I always thought Christion was suspect! Everything began to take a turn for Bryce and after each situation it seemed as if his life was spiraling out of control. Who would have ever thought Omar would be so sinister and do the things he did. I wish Marcus would have talked to Bryce about his suspicions. Erica payed the ultimate price for being so money hungry. That ending was the truth. I would've never thought those nightmares carried more meanings. Ooohhh Mia!!! I can't wait for part 2. Great job Ty!!!
this was my first time reading from this author .it was a very good story line based on lies, deceptions, murder and when you think you are trying to succeed in life with people who are suppose to be happy for you then you need to think again.mr marshall had a minor errors that didnt take away from the story, he was trying to tell.i did see in the middle of the story it was a long winded. also the character byrce was rich .i see you did trickery in your writing during the last end of the book.but all in all i believed you gave it your best for the book to be your first but just stay focus and keep writing and you will be fine .job well done

I just finished reading this book called Eat, Prey and No Love. This book is a really good and it's page turner. It will not allow me to put this book down because it always caught me attention and wide-awake.
I like the concept and vibe. It is well-written and well-characters. I'm promised to myself that I will not going to say too much for this book because I don't want to ruin the movement for the readers.
This is my first time reading from Ty Marshall. He did a great job for this book. I enjoyed reading his work. He is an amazing writers and author. Ty did an excellent job with this novel. From the first page you are hooked. There were a lot of twist and turns in this book, just when you thought you figured it out, he hits you with a twist. Bryce had it all, but he also had a secret that he couldn't figure out how to tell Mia. When I got to the end of the book, I was like Wow! I can see this book being turned into a movie. I have a lot of unanswered questions so hopefully there will be a part 2, but if not it's okay because it did have a good ending. But I will like to read more about the person in the end and what they been up to. If you haven't checked this out, please do immediately. #TeamOwl they never disappoint.
This book was very different than most urban lit books I've read. No good girl meets bad guy. No drugs. None of that. It was just a really good book about good ppl and how drastic life changes can cause jealousy to creep into your lives. More so a thriller a la "Gone Girl". It will have u on the edge of your seat. Very good read. I gave it 4/5 stars because the word "seen" is in the book too much for my liking. Especially considering more times than not it should've been "saw" and not "seen". Ex. Instead of it being Omar saw Bryce, it would read Omar seen Bryce. Just a little pet peeve of mine. But overall a really good, easy and quick read.
First off let me say I was thrilled to be able to support the entire Owl roster. That being said, when I first started readings book, my expectations were semi low due to the reviews I read after my purchase. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I know that everything isn't for everybody.
This story did start off with much of the same things I normally don't like such as the label dropping and boasting over the material possessions. But the story did gain momentum around chapter 10 or so. Once I got pass Bryce be I g so self absorbed, I became interested in this lie he was holding on to. The pace if the story also pick up and there were many twists and turns that kept me very intrigued.
This was a very well written story and I'm pretty tough on these authors, old and new. For his debut, Mr. Marshall has done a great job of telling a story that was face paced without omitting details. The storyline wasn't the usual, the characters were well developed as was the story.
The Highest Form if Storytelling
I recommend
